Welcome to BOOKCLUB. By purchasing courses, joining the community, accessing digital content, attending events, or using any services provided by BOOKCLUB, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
DEFINITIONS
• BOOKCLUB refers to the service provider operating [www.bookclubacademy.co.uk](http://www.bookclubacademy.co.uk).
• Member refers to any individual purchasing or accessing services.
• Services include courses, coaching, digital content, community access, and events.
• Platform refers to any system used to deliver services.
• Third-Party Providers refers to external platforms used by BOOKCLUB including but not limited to payment processors, website providers, software tools, event venues, or partner services.
MEMBERSHIP, BOOKING & ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITY
• Members are 100% responsible for managing their account login details, billing information, and payment preferences.
• Accounts are personal and may not be shared.
• Members are responsible for maintaining accurate contact and payment information.
• BOOKCLUB is not responsible for unauthorised account access caused by member negligence.
• Participation does not create any partnership, employment, or agency relationship.
Account Security
Members must:
• keep login details confidential
• not share access credentials
• notify BOOKCLUB of suspected security breaches
BOOKCLUB may suspend accounts for suspicious activity.
PAYMENTS, BILLING & ACCESS
• Payments must remain up to date.
• Any payments not made in time for renewal will result in automatic withdrawal of access at the next billing due date.
• This is an automated process managed by third-party payment providers.
• Memberships may automatically renew unless cancelled.
• BOOKCLUB is not liable for access interruptions caused by failed payments.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
• Members agree not to initiate chargebacks without contacting BOOKCLUB first.
• Chargebacks may result in account termination.
• Members remain liable for outstanding fees and recovery costs.
PAYMENT PROCESSING & THIRD-PARTY LIABILITY
• BOOKCLUB uses third-party service providers to facilitate payments and platform access.
• BOOKCLUB is not responsible for performance, availability, security, reliability, outages, technical errors, or data breaches involving third-party providers.
• Use of third-party systems is at the member’s own risk.
• BOOKCLUB is not liable for damages caused by affiliated parties, contractors, partners, or representatives acting with or on behalf of BOOKCLUB.
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
• A 14-day cooling-off period applies unless services have begun.
• By purchasing services that begin within the cooling-off period, members expressly consent to immediate service delivery and acknowledge that the right to cancel may be lost.
• Once services begin, no refunds or partial refunds are available unless explicitly stated.
• Missed sessions or unused access are not refundable.
COURSE ACCESS, DIGITAL PRODUCTS & PLATFORM AVAILABILITY
• Digital content is provided as a limited licence for personal use.
• Access is granted only for the duration of membership or course validity.
• BOOKCLUB may modify, remove, or replace content, curriculum, features, or platform functionality at any time.
• No guarantee is given regarding permanent availability of specific content.
• Platform availability may be interrupted for maintenance or updates.
• BOOKCLUB does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
RESCHEDULING & LESSON STRUCTURE
• Sessions must be rescheduled within the notice period specified.
• Late arrivals may reduce session time.
• BOOKCLUB may change tutors or schedules where necessary.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Members are responsible for:
• internet connectivity
• hardware and software
• platform compatibility
BOOKCLUB is not liable for member technical failures.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CONTENT USE
All materials remain the intellectual property of BOOKCLUB.
Members may not under any circumstances:
• reproduce
• distribute
• sell
• share
• modify
• commercially exploit
• reverse engineer
• copy business systems or frameworks
Any income generated through unauthorised sharing or use of BOOKCLUB intellectual property will be claimable by BOOKCLUB.
Access grants a limited, non-transferable licence only.
NON-SOLICITATION & COMPETITION
Members may not:
• solicit other members for competing services
• use BOOKCLUB content to create competing programmes
• copy business models or systems
• use community relationships for commercial competition
COMMUNITY CONDUCT
Members must:
• behave respectfully
• avoid harassment or discrimination
• not impersonate BOOKCLUB representatives
• follow community guidelines
BOOKCLUB may remove members without refund for misconduct.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Members must keep strictly confidential all information shared within the community, sessions, or platform, including:
• personal information relating to other members
• course materials and educational resources
• business strategies, methods, and frameworks
• discussions, advice, or feedback
• proprietary tools or templates
• financial information or results shared
• login details or access links
• recordings or screenshots of interactions
• any information reasonably considered private or proprietary
EDUCATION, ADVICE & LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
• BOOKCLUB provides educational services only.
• BOOKCLUB will not be held liable for damages resulting from education or advice.
• Members are responsible for their own decisions and actions.
FINANCIAL & BUSINESS GUIDANCE DISCLAIMER
• Financial, marketing, pricing, or business guidance is educational only.
• Nothing constitutes financial, legal, or professional advice.
• Members should seek independent professional advice.
HIGH-RISK AREA DISCLAIMERS
BOOKCLUB does not provide under any circumstances:
• financial advice
• legal advice
• medical advice
• mental health services
• guaranteed income opportunities
INDEPENDENT BUSINESS RESPONSIBILITY
Members are solely responsible for:
• business decisions
• pricing
• bookings
• client relationships
• contracts
• reputation
BOOKCLUB is not responsible for business outcomes.
RESULTS, EARNINGS & INCOME DISCLAIMER
• BOOKCLUB does not guarantee bookings, income, or results.
• Examples and testimonials are illustrative only.
• Outcomes depend on individual effort and market conditions.
GUARANTEE
BOOKCLUB may offer a results support guarantee subject to the conditions below.
Guarantee Overview
• BOOKCLUB may provide continued support free of charge where eligibility requirements are met.
• The guarantee is discretionary.
Eligibility — Monthly Memberships
• Must be active for at least six consecutive months to allow course teachings a reasonable amount of time to take effect.
• BOOKCLUB reserves the right to withdraw the guarantee at any time and use discretion fairly.
Eligibility — Annual Memberships
• Eligible only after the initial twelve-month membership period has expired.
• Annual memberships are paid in full and are non-refundable.
• No refunds will be given under any circumstances.
• Additional support may be offered at BOOKCLUB’s discretion.
Good Faith Participation
The guarantee may be refused if a member:
• fails to follow guidance
• fails to implement strategies
• fails to participate actively
• provides false information
• breaches these Terms
• engages in unethical behaviour
Determination of Reasonable Progress
BOOKCLUB will determine reasonable progress case by case. Factors include but are not limited to:
• member effort and consistency
• attendance and participation
• implementation of strategies
• quality of work submitted
• platform growth and activity
• marketing execution
• responsiveness to feedback
• communication
• professional attitude and conduct
• engagement in good faith
• willingness to apply changes
• market conditions
• starting skill level
• external business or economic factors
BOOKCLUB’s decision is final.
Guarantee Limitations
• No promise of income or success is made.
• BOOKCLUB may amend or withdraw the guarantee at any time.
RECORDING & MARKETING USE
• Sessions, events, and community interactions may be recorded.
• Recordings may be used for training, quality assurance, service improvement, and marketing.
• Members consent to use of testimonials, feedback, progress examples, or submitted content for promotional purposes unless they opt out.
• No compensation will be provided for marketing use.
• Members grant BOOKCLUB a non-exclusive licence to use submitted content for service operation and promotion.
• Members may withdraw consent for future use but not for materials already published.
IN-PERSON EVENTS & AGE RESTRICTIONS
• Age restrictions may apply to certain in-person events.
• Members must comply with venue rules, safety requirements, and entry conditions.
DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY
• BOOKCLUB complies with UK GDPR requirements.
• Members may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data.
• While reasonable measures are taken to protect data, no system can guarantee absolute security.
ACCEPTABLE USE OF SERVICES
Members must not:
• use services unlawfully
• attempt to hack or disrupt systems
• distribute malware
• misuse content
• exploit services commercially without permission
CONTENT ACCURACY & INFORMATION
• BOOKCLUB makes reasonable efforts to ensure information provided is accurate but does not guarantee completeness or reliability.
• Content may become outdated and BOOKCLUB is not obligated to update materials.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, BOOKCLUB’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the member in the preceding twelve months.
• BOOKCLUB shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or loss of profit damages.
MEMBER INDEMNITY
• Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless BOOKCLUB against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from misuse of services, breach of these Terms, or unlawful conduct.
SERVICE MODIFICATIONS
• BOOKCLUB may modify or discontinue services at any time without liability.
• BOOKCLUB may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms or non-payment.
FORCE MAJEURE
• BOOKCLUB is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.
CHANGES TO TERMS
• BOOKCLUB may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between members and BOOKCLUB and supersede prior communications or representations.
GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
• These Terms are governed by UK law.
• Parties agree to attempt mediation before legal proceedings.
